| | From US travel it might seem like a short distance but up, down and around the mountain makes for quite a journey. No shoes, bad roads and few vehicles make this painting a statement of simple life. A few of the women who work at the Haitian Artisans for Peace International co-op will walk two hours to come to work. Some days investing in a motorcycle taxi ride. |

| | Were you aware of Tropical Storm Noel in Oct 2007? I'm sure you many stories of the devestation created by multiple tropical storms and hurricanes in 2008. This was from a photo taken on Sunday and the Haiti airport was closed the next day. As we travelled up the mountain with GLOW Ministries, I noticed this girl several times doing her daily work. She and others were bringing water and wood up the steep and ragged mountains. Sometimes they were faster than our truck on the rocky roads. |

| | In Guatemala, moms are very busy with their many kids, cooking over the fire, and cleaning the dirt floors. Many times the young girls are carrying the little ones with them. Print sales will go to benefit Paradise Bound Ministries in bringing the message of Christ, medical help, healthier homes, and most importantly hope to the remote villages in Guatemala. |
